Offices to thrive, meet and grow

The Nybroviken office opened in 1996, at Birger Jarlsgatan 2. Here we offer a representative office right next to Nybrokajen and a stone's throw from Stureplan.

Kontoret Globen opened its doors in 2005, closely followed by Kontoret Solna Centrum which opened in 2007. Kontoret Globen is located on Arenavägen 41, on the 12th floor. There we have a view that reaches all over Stockholm!

The Solna Centrum office is located right in the center of Solna, a better location in Solna is hard to find!

We opened the Alviks Strand office in 2011. The office is located along the waterfront with a fantastic view of Lake Mälaren and Stockholm.

The rent includes most things, depending on which service you choose and which Office you choose to sit in. Among other things, we offer manned reception/exchange that takes care of your calls and visits, conference and meeting rooms, mail handling, access to the Office 24 hours a day, all year round, Internet, telephone subscriptions, copiers, scanners, coffee and tea, fresh fruit and cleaning. We can also help with secretarial services, dry cleaning, courier services, office supplies sales, travel bookings, IT support and printing, among others.

We who work here

Apart from you, our employees are of course the most important cogs in the office. They are the ones who take care of all our tenants, make sure that they are happy and that all the services around them run smoothly. Many of them have worked with us for a long time - a sign that they enjoy their work.

I started at the Nybroviken Office 17 years ago, so it's no surprise that I enjoy my work. The best thing about the office is all the wonderful people we have around us and that no two days are the same. The most important thing for me at work is to try to ensure that our tenants are happy in our premises. There is nothing more motivating than positive feedback from our tenants. If they are happy, I am happy. I am a fairly happy and calm person who likes when things happen but is reluctant to be in the center.

I joined the office just over 9 years ago. The best thing about the Office is our tenants, the great atmosphere and my colleagues. The most important thing for me at the office is that everyone who works here is happy. And of course my colleagues. I am motivated by great customer meetings, having many balls in the air and when everyone around me feels good. As a person, my strengths are above all helpfulness, service, and that I always try to help out if I can.

Per Gunnarsson

In January 1996 we opened the doors to one of Stockholm's first office hotels; Kontoret Nybroviken. Since then we have opened the Globen Office (2004), the Solna Centrum Office (2007) and the Alviks Strand Office (2012). We have tenants who have been with us since the start in all the respective offices and this has led to many long and good relationships. Most of them stay with us for a long time, and many are returning.

Our history

When we opened our doors in Östermalm in 1996, we were among the first office hotels in Stockholm. Back then, people barely knew what the concept meant - today it's an obvious option for companies that want a modern, flexible and affordable office. Over the years, a lot has happened both with us and in the industry and here we give you a brief look back.

Nybroviken Office

It all started in 1996 when Per Gunnarsson, the founder of Kontorets, decided to offer Stockholm's entrepreneurs the then much less known concept of office hotels. Our first office opened its doors at one of Stockholm's most attractive addresses at Nybroviken in Östermalm. On the fifth floor of the beautiful and historic building, Per wanted to create modern and flexible office solutions for companies of all sizes and industries. His vision succeeded.

1996

The Globe Office

Nine years later, in 2005, we felt ready to expand. Office hotels in Stockholm city center had proven to work well and the next location was Globen. With its strategic location close to everything an entrepreneur could possibly need, it was an obvious choice for Office number 2.

2005

Solna Center Office

This time, only two years passed before it was time for further expansion of the office. The year was 2007 and now the choice fell on Solna Centrum - another of the Stockholm area's most strategic locations for businesses. For those who want to rent an office in Solna it would be hard to find a more central location.

Alviks Strand office

In 2011 it was time for Kontorets latest addition - Alviks Strand - founded by Tomas Märgel and his partner. With its fine central premises in Bromma, Alviks Strand completed our office hotel quartet. Over the years, we have had a very good cooperation with all our fantastic tenants and we look forward to an equally exciting and fun future.
